About Elise
Elise is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who joined the Louisiana Heart and Vascular Institute in 2025. She brings over 16 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a strong foundation in critical care and more than 13 years of focused practice in cardiology. Her passion for cardiovascular care emerged during her time in the cardiac catheterization lab and further developed through her specialization in the management of implantable cardiac devices.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is an active member of several professional and academic organizations, including Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, the Society for Collegiate Leadership & Achievement (SCLA) at UAB, and the National Association of Family Nurse Practitioners (NAFNP).
Dedicated to evidence-based practice, Elise is committed to improving patient outcomes and promoting well-being by providing compassionate, patient-centered care to members of her community.
Outside of her clinical practice, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, attending live music events, and traveling.
