About Dr. Guste
Cassie Guste is a nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She began her education at Louisiana State University studying pre-nursing and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Franciscan University (formerly Our Lady of the Lake College) in May 2006. Cassie later earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University in May 2014.
Before joining Louisiana Heart and Vascular Institute, Cassie worked at a private practice clinic in Covington for 10 years, where she provided comprehensive care for adults and children. Her experience also includes medical-assisted weight loss and aesthetics.
Cassie is passionate about preventive health and empowering her patients through education and compassionate care. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking, boating, and fishing with her husband and their two children.
